I do not get many comments and really feel it has been worth it when readers take the time to respond. So thank you very much.
I am not so frugal as I could be, but I think it is a learning curve and try to be good every day. Though I do think it is equally important to say when days have gone bad!
Personally I think the UK does have so many good qualities _ NHS, freedom of speech and sexual equality. But i also think there is a lot we could learn from USA. I wish as a nation we had your sense of national pride. The Brits are somewhat embarrased to be called British and naturally we are envious of your diversity of climate - you can sunbathe in one state whilst skiing in another.
Florida I have visited> Disney or course and Maimi. But I loved Fort Lauderdale (sp?).
If you come to London again with your daughter mail me and I will come down and we can have afternoon tea together in "the big smoke"
Abigail
xAbigailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03541501002713133313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1731270666774779720.post-16711042513149634692013-01-10T05:01:40.435-08:002013-01-10T05:01:40.435-08:00Abigail, I found your blog a few months ago and lo...Abigail, I found your blog a few months ago and love reading it. My teenage daughter and I visited London a year ago when she cheered in the London New Years Day Parade as an All American Cheerleader and we just loved it. I know you live there and though the weather sometimes can seem dreary compared to where I live I enjoy hearing about England and quite honestly your prices on many things are better than the US now that we are going through what we are going through and I am envious that you can handle things the way you do. I live in an obviously tourist location and we are forced to pay exorbitant prices especially during the season where the already high prices double. Your blog has given me alot of ideas. I have been a frugalista for many years way before it was fashionable and commend you on your lifestyle, so keep blogging, it makes my day to see a blog from you pop up on my email.
